His Perfect Life
The Life of God: Living From His Overflow
At Burillo Ministries, we believe that the Christian life is not meant to be lived in our own strength, but from the very life of God within us. Jesus said in John 10:10:
“I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.”
This is not just existence—it’s the abundant, overflowing, victorious life of God (Greek: Zoe).
What Is the Life of God?
The life of God is His divine nature flowing into every part of who we are—spirit, soul, and body. It brings healing where there was brokenness, peace where there was fear, and strength where there was weakness.
Living From the Inside Out
When we receive Jesus, His Spirit comes to live inside us (Galatians 2:20). We no longer live for Him in our own ability; He lives through us. The more we renew our minds with His Word and believe His promises, the more that life flows into our daily walk—our families, work, and ministry.
The Life of God in Action
Through Burillo Ministries, we are seeing lives touched by this truth—children experiencing God’s love, leaders being equipped for ministry, and communities encountering hope in Christ. This life is meant to be shared, multiplying His grace and goodness wherever we go.
A Prayer for You
Our prayer is that you experience the fullness of His life today. May His Spirit quicken you with fresh strength, joy, and peace, and may His presence shine through you to the world around you.
Faith Then and Now.
Let’s talk about faith—not just the kind that gets you through a hard Monday, but the kind that moves mountains, builds nations, and raises the dead. Yep, that kind of faith.
If you’ve ever read about Abraham, you know his story isn’t just inspiring—it’s wild. God told this man, already old and childless, that he would become the father of many nations (Genesis 17:4-5). Abraham believed God, and that faith was counted to him as righteousness (Romans 4:3). No GPS, no physical evidence, no contract—just a promise and a heart that chose to trust.
That’s huge.
Abraham’s faith was pioneering. He believed in what he could not see, and he walked in obedience even when it didn’t make sense. That’s why he’s called the father of faith.
But here’s where it gets even more beautiful.
We’ve received something even better.
We live after the cross. After the resurrection. After the victory. The Bible says we’ve been given the measure of faith (Romans 12:3)—we’re not trying to earn it or build it up from scratch. It’s already in us, because we are in Christ.
Galatians 2:20 says,
“The life I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.”
Wait—whose faith?
Not just our own struggling, doubting, questioning faith—but His faith.
We’ve been given access to Jesus’ perfect, unshakable faith. That’s grace. That’s inheritance.
Let that sink in for a second:
Abraham believed a promise.
We believe a finished work.
He looked ahead to what would be done.
We look back at what has already been done.
He trusted the God of the covenant.
We trust the God who fulfilled the covenant in Jesus.
Faith isn’t something you have to strive to get. It’s already been placed inside of you when you received Jesus. It just needs to be awakened, exercised, and spoken.
Jesus said,
“Have faith in God. Truly I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart… he will have whatever he says.” (Mark 11:22-24)
This kind of faith isn’t passive. It speaks. It acts. It agrees with Heaven.
So yes, Abraham’s faith was beautiful, strong, and world-changing. But don’t forget—you have been given something even more powerful: resurrection faith, living inside of you through the Holy Spirit.
You don’t need to beg for faith.
You need to believe you already have it.
Let your faith speak. Let it move. Let it partner with the promises of God—because through Jesus, you’re not just hoping for the blessing, you’re living in it.
The Gift of Friendship: Building the Kingdom Together
When people ask what makes ministry truly beautiful, I often think of: friendship.
Not just the casual kind, but the kind of friendship that has roots deep in love, sacrifice, and the desire to see others walk fully in their God-given identity.
Friendship is one of the most overlooked forms of ministry—and one of the most powerful.
More Than Acquaintances
The world offers a shallow kind of connection: “I’ll be here when it’s easy.”
But God calls us to something deeper: “I’m here for you. Period.”
Proverbs 18:24 (NLT):
“There are ‘friends’ who destroy each other, but a real friend sticks closer than a brother.”
That’s the kind of friend we see in Jesus—faithful, loyal, never abandoning, always seeking our good. Jesus assures us, “I will never leave you or forsake you.” Now that’s a friend.
Friendship as Ministry
Friendship isn’t secondary to ministry—it is ministry.
When you walk with someone in their struggles, celebrate their victories, encourage or remind them of who they are in Christ, you’re doing Kingdom work.
Serving without expecting in return
Listening to understand, to hear your friend's heart
Reminding your friend of who they are in Christ
Pointing them towards our Father’s heart through His Word
A friend asks himself:
“How can I serve my friends today? How can I encourage them? How can I add value to their life and remind them of who they are in Christ?”
John 15:15 (NIV):
“I no longer call you servants... Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you.”
Fighting Self-Centeredness with Friend-Centeredness
So much of our grief is rooted in self-centeredness.
But friendship calls us to look outward.
Galatians 6:2 encourages us to:
“Share each other’s burdens, and in this way obey the law of Christ.” (NLT)
Our Heart at Burillo Ministries
This is what we want to model in all we do:
Real friendship
Real service
Building one another up in Christ
When you partner with us, you’re joining a family of friends on mission together to build people up and introduce them to their friend Jesus.
Your partnership helps us:
Encourage pastors and leaders
Teach believers their true identity in Christ
Serve communities in Mexico and beyond
Equip disciples to carry the Gospel with compassion and truth
Let’s Be Friends Who Build the KingdomMy prayer is that we would all take time to ask:
“How can I serve my friends today?”
“How can I remind people they are loved and have purpose today?”
“How can I encourage someone to keep going, knowing their Friend walks with them?”
Because friendship is a powerful tool God has given us to share His love.
Thank you for being our friends in the Gospel.
Thank you for partnering with us.
Together, let’s be friends who build the Kingdom.
If this message encourages you, share it with a friend. Let’s keep building one another up in Him.

A New Season in Chiapas
In this new season, the Lord is leading us to Cintalapa, Chiapas, where we’ve joined forces with Bill and Tammy Woods of Lost and Found Ministries. Together, we are planting The Sower International Ministry Training Center — a place to equip leaders who will go out and change their communities, their countries, and the world.
We believe that God is raising up a new generation of sowers — people rooted in His Word, filled with His Spirit, and burning with His love. And we’re honored to help train and launch them into the harvest.
“The generous soul will be made rich, and he who waters will also be watered himself.”
— Proverbs 11:25

🌿 Looking Back, Stepping Forward: What God Is Doing.
It a Looking Back, Stepping Forward: What God Is Doing.
Dear friends,
As we reflect on this past season, our hearts are full of gratitude. God is so faithful. He’s allowed us to witness His love in motion — through simple moments, powerful encounters, and lives transformed. It’s humbling, really, to be part of His story in Mexico and across the Spanish-speaking world.
From the streets of Querétaro to the hills of Chiapas, we’ve seen God's hand move. And we want to take a moment to celebrate what He has done through Burillo Ministries — with your prayers, love, and support alongside us.
